Beers, Ciders, Perries and Wines

 

There will be 50 plus real ales this year from Cheshire Breweries; the most ever in one place. This year will see a wider offering  cider and perries

Take this opportunity to try something new and enjoy.

4 Happy Valley, Bollington Lazy Daze 4.2 Traditional Old English Ale, golden in colour: The very best Maris Otter and Crystal Malt provide the perfect blend and balance. Has a superb Hoppy finish provided by late aroma hopping in the copper. Very quaffable!

28 Dunham Massey, Dunham Massey Chocolate Cherry Mild 3.8 A favorite at Styal. Chocolat Cherry Mild has all the class of 'Dunham dark' with a dry hint of cherry that cuts through the beer.

Undurraga Brut NV Chile

From the Maipo Valley comes this elegant and delicate wine which is fresh and dry on the palate. It is ideal as an aperitif or with any appetiser.

Yali Winemaker's Selection Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Rapel Valley

Grapefruit, lime and peach aromas leap from the glass, followed with crisp, citrus flavours on the palate. A refreshing acidity and zingy finish make this perfect drinking either on its own or with light seafood dishes.

Coldridge Estate Semillon Chardonnay 2009 South Eastern Australia

Produced by McGuigan wines for majestic Pale gold in colour, rich and silky in texture. Light citrus flavours combined with peaches and tropical fruits.

Reds

Yali Winemaker's Selection Merlot Rosé 2010

A light and fruity rosé with a soft watermelon backbone, embellished with hints of strawberry and cherry on the palate. A refreshing apéritif, it can also be enjoyed with salads, fish and light pasta dishes      Origin :Chile ABV:11.5%

Oxford Landing Estates Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2008 South Australia

A modern take on the classic Rhône blend. The raspberry and blackcurrant backbone of the Grenache is layered with savoury, spicy notes from the Shiraz, while a dash of Mourvedre lends bold tannins for a firm structure and added length.

Rose

Santa Rita 120 Merlot 2010 Rapel Valley

. Intense aromas of red fruits, accompanied by floral, vanilla and tobacco notes. Has a great feeling of volume in the mouth, with plentiful but super-soft tannins, and typically Chilean ripeness of fruit. An obvious choice for light red meat dishes and pasta, or even weightier fish such as salmon.           Origin:Chile ABV:13.5%
